opuntia fulgida mamillata family cactaceae .. native Mexico .. Arizona .. some call it Dog ears .. opuntia mamillata fast growing .. very hard cactus .. growing irregular.. small thin spines glochids 2cm .. it attach the skin easly and difficult to remove inter deep inside the skin cause mush pain .. be careful .. better moving away from its spines ... opuntia mamillata sharp white to brown spines .. the mamillata can live in dry desert climate .. possible to grow it in container .. need full sun to light shady .. the opuntia mamillata can grow in low temperatures .. it need little water once every month in summer and good to stop the watter in winter .. propagation by cutting easily .... the sylindr will produce crest monstrosa when it will be older ..
هذا النوع الجميل من الصبار ينمو سريعا جدا مطلقا اصابع يصل طولها حوالى عشرين سم فى اسابيع فليله لها اشواك صغيره رفيعه بيضاء الى بنيه اللون مع مرور الوقت وهى صعبه جدا وحاده ايضا تدخل الجلد بسهوله تسبب الم قوى جدا ومن الافضل اخذ الحذر من اشواكها او استعمال الكفوف الواقيه للضروره ... تنمو تحت اشعه الشمس المباشره فى المناطق الجافه وايضا فى الاماكن المظلله التى يصلها الضوء ويصبح منظرها اكثر جمالا .. ولكن نموها فى الاماكن المظلله يجعلها عرضه لعده انواع من الافات وخصوصا النقط السوداء التى تظهر عليها ... ولاتحتاج الى الكثير من الماء مره كل شهر فى ايام الصيف الحاره ويفضل التوقف عن ريها فى فصل الشتاء .. عمليه الاكثار سهله باخذ احد الاصابع وغرسه فى التربه وهى سهله التشريش ... مع مرور الوقت يصبح شكلها مميزا وتصبح متعرجه وكتل متواصله مع بعضها البعض تختلف فى الشكل مع انها تبدا فى انتاج اصابع اخرى .. الموطن الاصلى لها المكسيك واريزونا الولايات المتحده .. opuntia fulgida mamillata family cactaceae opuntia mamillata native mexico opuntia fulgida mamillata growing irregular opuntia mamillata full sun to light shady opuntia mamillata jumping cholla opuntia mamillata dog ears
